Shared Heritage kick-off meeting launches cross-border implementation

The Shared Heritage consortium has successfully completed its official kick-off meeting, opening the implementation phase of the project.

The meeting brought together partner teams from Spain, Austria, and Belgium to align strategy, timelines, and working methods for the first project cycle. As a foundational moment, the session focused on building a shared operational framework that supports consistency across countries while allowing activities to remain locally relevant and community-oriented.

Partners reviewed the full activity pathway, from heritage research and immersive content development to educational piloting, festival planning, and dissemination. The group also confirmed collaboration routines for communication, quality monitoring, and internal coordination, ensuring that each workstream can progress with clear responsibilities and realistic delivery planning.

A key result of the kick-off was the alignment of implementation logic across public-facing actions. This means that immersive experiences, learning labs, and cultural events will not be delivered as isolated interventions, but as connected steps in a broader process of participation and intercultural engagement. The objective is to create continuity between content creation, community interaction, and long-term knowledge sharing.

The meeting also reinforced the project’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and multilingual outreach. These principles will shape both content production and public engagement formats, helping ensure that Shared Heritage outputs remain usable for different audiences and adaptable across varied institutional contexts.

With the kick-off milestone completed, the consortium now moves into active implementation. The next phase will focus on historical research and content curation, laying the narrative and methodological foundations for upcoming immersive and educational activities.
